Frequently asked questions.

Can anyone attend an estate sale?

Yes, the sale is open to the public during the scheduled days and times.

How does it work?

Generally, most items inside the home are for sale with the exception of attached fixtures. Items for sale will have price tags. If you see something you would like to buy, you can place it on the "hold" table while you shop around. If it is a large item, you can simply pull the tag and ask a staff member to mark it sold. Please note that placing an item on the “hold” table or pulling the tag commits you to buying the item. When you are ready to pay, you go to the checkout table and pay with cash or credit card.

How do I find out about your sales?

Subscribe to our email list to be notified of upcoming sales. You can also find us on www.estatesales.net or follow us on Instagram or Facebook.

Is there a sign up list for entrance to the sale?

Yes, for the first day, the opportunity to sign up is completed online. A link to the sign up page will be sent in an email days ahead of the sale and then posted on Estatesales.net as well as here. This process is designed to make the sign up list easier for you as there is no need to arrive early to get in line. This list will be printed and placed at the door at 8am on the day of the sale, so you can always sign it then if you prefer. Following days will have sign up sheets at the sale location. Signing up is not required for entry, but simply allows you earlier access.

Do you sell items before the sale begins?

No, due to the nature of vintage or used items, it is important that you see them in person before purchasing as everything is sold “As Is” and there are no returns or refunds.

Can I get information about pricing before the sale?

No, we only discuss pricing on the days of the sale.

Can I place a bid on an item during the sale?

Yes, we are happy to take offers. Please see a staff member to put your offer in writing. In the event the item has not sold at the end of the sale, we will contact the highest bidder.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and major credit cards. No checks, please.

What happens if I buy a piece of furniture?

We are not able to assist in moving furniture, so if you plan to purchase a larger piece, please bring sufficient help. We may ask that you make arrangements to pick up the piece after the sale if there is not room to maneuver during the sale.
